Sustainability Workshop: The 3Rs
From January to March 2022, Package Pals conducted a series of 3 workshops in collaboration with Our Tampines Hub - where one of our largest drop-off points is located!

The series was based on the 3 Rs - Recycle, Reuse and Reduce. Guest speakers were invited for our second and last session, who shared more about their expertise and knowledge regarding the environmental scene in Singapore.

Thank you to Refind, Engineering Good and Cloop for the eye-opening sharings! A huge shoutout to all our participants who came down to help us with the sorting of packaging, and we can't wait to meet all of you again as official volunteers for PP x OTH.
#KindnessDaySG by Singapore Kindness Movement
On 21 May 2021, Package Pals had the honour of being inducted into Singapore Kindness Movement’s Kindred Spirit Circle as a recognised Ground Up Movement (GUM).
Coinciding with our 1-year anniversary, this was a reminder of how far we’ve come in just 12 months. What started as 2 girls sorting packaging in their rooms has transformed into something larger than themselves.
Earth x Fashion Event
We hosted a booth at our first physical event organised by Cloop on 25 April 2021, together with many other sustainability partners who shared about their cause and missions.

Youth Earth Day Roundtable Discussion
In collaboration with Lazada, Science Centre Singapore and Green Monday, we hosted a Youth Earth Day roundtable discussion on 22 April 2021.
​
154 participants from primary and secondary schools (aged 11-17) joined us on Zoom, where we shared our thoughts on sustainability and packaging waste.
Public Sorting Session at Our Tampines Hub
We conducted our very first public sorting session at Our Tampines Hub on 17 April 2021 - a meaningful start to Earth Week! We were inspired by the insightful perspectives and shared efforts that our participants (from all walks of life) brought to the table.

Our co-founder Rachel Lee attended the Echo for Eco 2.0 webinar hosted by Raffles Institution's Community Advocates, and spoke about youth & environmental advocacy.
